MR. JESSE J. BYRD
Jesse is the former President of the society’s Board of Directors. He was born February 19, 1938 in Woodville, Mississippi. He also served as the San Francisco Peace Officer for almost 20 years.

MR. BRYAN CASTON, CPA
Bryan joined the board in 2006. He is currently Chief Financial Officer for Machinery & Equipment Company, Inc. in Brisbane, CA. He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of California since 1988. He also serves on the board of The Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples, and is Treasurer.

MR. W. E. HOSKINS, DDS
Bill is the Executive Director of the Society. He currently practices Dentistry with the department of Public Health and is the President of the Greater Bay Area Dental Society. He is also President of the Bay Area Investment Club.

MR. ELLIS C. JOSEPH
Ellis has served on the Board for six years. He is the Society’s Treasurer and Systems Administrator. Ellis is the owner of Joseph & Associates, Inc. He teaches QuickBooks; prepares businesses and personal income tax returns.

MR. GLENN NANCE
Glenn is the Department Chair of African American Studies for City College of San Francisco. His primary responsibilities focus on coordination and staff development at the college. Glenn is a member of the Chancellor’s Diversity Committee at City College and is a long time Board member of African American Historical and Cultural Society. He has also served on Boards of other organizations in San Francisco to improve the status of the Black Community.

MR. ALFRED W. WILLIAMS
Al is President of the Society and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is the Founder and General Manager of Alfred Williams Consultancy, LLC a San Francisco based public affairs consulting firm that specializes in community relations. Al has held senior management positions in the public, private and non-for-profit sectors.
